In Thekchen Choling (Singapore) a monthly Medicine Buddha puja, led by resident nuns Ani Chodron and Ani Dechen is conducted on every 3rd Saturday at 8pm.

By chanting Medicine Buddha’s name mantra, sincerely prostrating or make offerings to him, one accumulates great merits and virtues that causes increased lifespan and protects one from disasters and diseases. It also creates the cause for one to be born in the Pure Land of Medicine Buddha.

In addition the following causes are also created:

• Success in business and all endeavours
• Easily obtaining food and clothing
• Healing sickness
• Purifying broken vows or precepts
• Protection against diseases, physical and spirit harm, untimely death
• Not being reborn as a hell being, hungry ghost or animal after death

Prayer Dedications

Also, if you have friends or a relative or even a pet who might benefit from the healing energy of the Medicine Buddha, you can dedicate prayers to them so that they too can benefit from these prayers.

Dedications are on an individual basis and are $10 per person/per month. This covers light, fruits and flower offerings.
