Welcome to our online library.

In here, we have stored teachings and prayers by Lama Thubten Namdrol Dorje and our visiting Gurus. We wish to become a temple in Singapore renowned for providing education in the Buddhadharma. In an audience with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in Year 2003, he emphasized that generally Chinese practitioners focus on rituals, pursuing empowerments and blessings and Westerners seem to intellectualize Buddha’s teachings. Being in Singapore, a country that is a potpourri of both Chinese and Western, we risk doing both!

As we are beginners, our list of teachings focus on the core teachings of mind transformation and also intends to provide for greater understanding of rituals and practices. We are in the process of transcribing Lama’s teachings and in particular teachings to explain various rituals in their context.

Soon video clips of Lama’s teachings shall be posted. These shall be changed weekly to bring on fresh teachings. For more advanced studies, many materials are available in other websites and publishers. We shall provide links to them in our website.

However, we cannot emphasize enough that mere learning from a library cannot replace the guidance of a spiritual teacher and if you are serious about the pursuit of Buddhism as your way of life, we encourage you to seek out a centre or temple where you shall find your spiritual friend.

Westerners, on the other hand, seemed to intellectualise Buddha’s teachings. Coming from Singapore, a country that is in many ways both Chinese and Western, we risk doing both!
