LAMA THUBTEN NAMDROL DORJE’S PRIVATE OFFICE

As part of our efforts to make Buddha’s teachings available to all, the Thekchen Choling Management committee has requested Lama Thubten Namdrol Dorje to set up a private office, and Lama has kindly agreed. The main purposes of the private office will be to

  • Make the teachings of the Buddha easily available in English and Mandarin, in a manner that is easily understood and highly applicable to
    daily life, and to
  • Share Dharma texts such as sutras and teachings in a variety of media so as to make it widely accessible, in accordance with the aims specified in
    our statement of spiritual objectives.

While the current temple management committee will continue to assist Lama organize temple activities in Singapore, it is our wish that the private office will enable Lama Thubten Namdrol Dorje to expand his width of activities to propagate the Buddhadharma. At the moment this focuses on the two purposes above with the ultimate intent to set up more dharma centres and locations to teach the Buddhadharma.

The first set of projects listed below includes those already completed. The second set includes those that are currently in progress and for which we request donations in order to cover the costs of translation and publishing. The names of all sponsors will be included in the text. If you would like to make a donation or discuss the possibility of sponsoring all or part of the projects listed, please contact Richard Pang at tcclexedir@gmail.com or call (65) 9431 2682 .
