Thekchen Choling (TCCL) – Qing Ming Festival Notice [Update]

                    With the commencement of the Qing Ming Festival tomorrow (28 Mar) and in view of the latest measures announced by the Ministry of Health (MOH), Thekchen Choling (TCCL) would like to remind all devotees and public to stay home and be safe.

                    • Temple will be closed to public with effect from 25 March 2020 till further notice. 

                    • We regret to inform that there will be no prayer areas available for you to make offerings to your ancestors or dearly departed in temple premises during this Qing Ming period (28 March to 11 April 2020).

                    • Devotees are encouraged to sign up for the "Gratitude and Remembrance Package" consisting of 10 essential prayer items. This is a service where our Sangha will help you to pray and offer these offerings on your behalf. (Click here to order: ). Alternatively, you may pray from home too.

                    • For those who had registered for our Qing Ming event, our temple will continue to help you to offer prayers at the ancestral tablets in the Main Temple and in Relic Hall on your behalf.

                    • For devotees who had registered for the "Bountiful Food Charity to Wandering Spirits" on 4 April 2020, please note that it will be postponed to a later date and you will be notified of the change in date.

                    • If you had not sign up for Qing Ming, you can still register for our Qing Ming event online at

                    • Aside from essential services (e.g. Front Office), all public services such as seeking divination (求签), free TCM, free vegetarian meals and etc will also be suspended during this period.

                    • All other services (e.g. pujas and consultations) will be made available online (Coming soon)

                    • All teachings and prayer sessions will also be made available online through the TCCL FB Live. Devotees and public are to participate via the TCCL FB Live for all these sessions.

                    • TCCL is monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely for necessary reviews to our operations.

                    • Any updates to our measures will be posted on our website, Facebook and Telegram.
